Welcome.

The City of London is host to 110 Livery Companies. Once the trade and craft associations for the Capital, the requirement for that original purpose has changed, but now they flourish in a number of different ways, serving a variety of communities and in particular with a strong link to education.

The Livery Companies support education through a variety of methods, from governance to volunteering, grant making to bursaries and in a variety of other ways. Between them they have links to over 160 schools and colleges, with 105,000 students.

This site is currently in development but will be live soon. It will be showing you a snapshot of the schools and the Livery Companies - celebrating the quiet work being done to support education.
